About Five Twelve

Hi, I’m Kaily! I’m thrilled to connect with you. A little bit about me :  I was born in Texas but spent much of my early life in vibrant Colorado. Now that I’m back in Austin, I’m excited to embrace everything this incredible city has to offer. My business, Five Twelve Designs, reflects my passion for Austin and is inspired by the 512 area code.

From organizing fashion shows for family and friends in my youth to pursuing formal studies in design over the past few years, design has consistently played a significant role in my life. My love for travel and exploring diverse cultures has broadened my design perspective, allowing me to appreciate the rich tapestry of designs, colors, and textures from around the world. I studied Interior Design at the Metropolitan State University of Denver and further expanded my expertise through a series of specialized online courses. These included in-depth studies in areas such as renovations, fabrics, furniture selection, textures, tile, hardwood flooring, and more.

I’m particularly drawn to Organic Modern and Spanish-style homes, enjoying the interplay of natural textures and colors. I also love stepping outside my comfort zone to tackle new design challenges. I believe your home should be a true reflection of who you are, showcasing the things you love. Whether you're starting from scratch, refurbishing old furniture, or need help with organization and planning, I’m here to assist—and I can’t wait to meet you!
